Jolene Smith was born and raised in South Jordan, Utah, and currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with her two Miniature Australian Shepherds, Cara and Gracie. Jolene started setting goals at a young age and has always been passionate about pursuing dreams and making them a reality through avid goal setting. Goal setting helped her become the first female in her family to graduate from college.
Jolene graduated from Auburn University “War Eagle” with a degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis on Radio, Television and Film. She interned at Miramax Films, worked for International Sports Broadcasting for the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, was a pharmaceutical representative and has since worked in marketing and branded merchandise, designing custom concepts for fortune 500 clients with pharmaceutical and consumer.
Her love of new places and meeting new people has allowed her to live in several states in the US prior to making Raleigh home. She loves traveling and spends her free time reading, writing, cooking and enjoying time with friends and family.

Jolene has taken causes to a new level by inspiring others to give back through several of her own initiatives, including The Inspiration Effect, The Pink Effect, The Corkie Effect and The Memories Effect. Jolene is committed to encouraging others to have their own “effect” in life; she continuously inspires individuals to give back and live a more purposeful and significant life.
